BUSINESS ON BOARD
One of the great advantages of a private yacht is the opportunity to escape the world. However, for those who need to keep in touch with business back home, the yacht is well equipped with modern technology. Guests have access to the satellite phone, Internet connection and email, with the option of a private email address supplied through the yacht’s domain. (Please note that calls and Internet access are at a supplementary cost).

Looking back, planning forwards…

As we finished a late breakfast in the cockpit, the Captain joined us for coffee and told us all about Northern Spirit and the many places she’s cruised in the past. Then we chatted about our itinerary.

Although we’d outlined our ideas when we booked the charter, now we’re on board we can really plan our day-to-day wish-list. We want to combine plenty of relaxation on board with visits ashore, including shopping and beach trips and a few meals in some fantastic restaurants that the captain has recommended.

We’re told the local markets sell wonderful fish, fruits and spices and the chef has promised to treat us to some typical provincial cuisine. Northern Spirit also has excellent water sports equipment, so we talked about the best spots to snorkel, water ski and windsurf – and of course we can dive in for a swim whenever the mood takes us. All sounds perfect!
